Sean Lintow Sr. works out of Naperville, IL where he helps manage the Homeowner’s & Trades Resource Center. The displays an impressive amount of resources that ultimately enable individuals to understand problems and find long term solutions.

3/7/14: Scranton, PA: The Times-Tribune CPG (aka AZEK) faces potential class-action lawsuit – This piece was developed about CPG (a local Scranton, PA company which most of us know as AZEK) about the upcoming class action suit I talked about here. I got to say it is nice when the reporters actually quote you in context which doesn’t always happen.

I’m a BigRentz Machine Head Winner!8. SLS Construction – 2013 Top Machine Head

We like this site because it has a lot of DIY tips and info for homeowners but he also has info for us contractors – regulatory stuff and green building posts. The guy also has the quirky Wacky Wednesday posts that are fun.

Bob K. – Resource Director for Trade Teacher Education

Sean,

Thanks so much for participating in our Technical Update Workshop.

Instructors were very pleased and we think we had the best ever workshop in our 18 years of providing Technical Update for teachers in Alabama. It can only be successful because leaders like yourself are willing to participate. The instructors were very pleased to have new information about how they can expand their programs to introduce additional employment opportunities for their students.

We look forward to working with you again soon.

Sean, Thank You! This is a great set of photos on a really splendid Project

They really tell the story, and I am delighted to have them to show others “How it should be done”!

You were very kind to send them – I appreciate your doing so.

Regards,

Ron

Service Area: Remote & Virtual

Nice thing about remote and  virtual assessments, 2nd opinions, design assistance, etc… is that you can be located almost anywhere.

One word of warning is if you are “shopping” or just looking for advice, make sure that the individual or company understands your specific climate challenges or environment beyond just the climate zone chart.

  • Very Hot & Dry?
  • Hot & Humid?
  • Coastal / Lake Region?
  • High Mountain?
  • Wind, Fire, or Other Zone?

Having lived, worked & built in many of these environments has helped me understand what the issues can be and how to work around them.

For example, unless you live in a place which uses an AC unit for 10 or fewer hours a year, you don’t want someone talking about installing a vapor barrier on the inside unless you want rot issues.
